For the past 3 years the HWC has sent several athletes to the Bill Farrell International Wrestling Tournament in New York City but this year it’s likely everyone will be staying home.

Lee, DeSanto, Warner, Marinelli, Young, Eierman, and Sorensen are all very active in the room, impacting our undergrads in a meaningful way. Everyone is healthy and fully committed to supporting the University team as they embark on pursuing 25 in 2025!

For the past three years we have been partnering with local bars and restaurants to provide our fans with Pre-Match Socials! Our goal is to create an atmosphere where our community can grow and enjoy Hawkeye Wrestling together. Our social events are open to the public and free of charge! Guests can win raffle prizes, meet Hawkeye legends, and enjoy drink specials before each-and-every home dual this season!

We are also pleased to announce the formation of the HWC Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees has been established as a fundraising board to further our vision to be the number one Olympic & senior level wrestling program in America. Currently we have 3 revenue streams; Events, the Inner Circle, and our Herb Tyler Endowment. By adding another layer to our organization we feel we can start climbing our way back to the top of the wrestling world!

Our next major event is our Arctic Plunge! Saturday, January 25, 2025 immediately following the Ohio State Dual!! This event is so much fun and it’s an opportunity for friends, family, and co-workers to come together for one awesome cause!

Jumpers set out to raise as money as possible for their frigged jump. Jumpers also have fun by dressing in costumes and having unique walk out songs and themes to their jumps! If you haven’t done it before, this is your chance to make a big splash!! Follow the event link below to learn more.
