The University of Iowa Hawkeyes’ home opener is tomorrow night in historic Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Our Hawks take on Bellarmine University at 6:00 pm.

We’re so excited to see how our team competes tomorrow and all season long. It’s been a productive off season for training and recruiting top-level talent to Iowa City. Our team is very balanced with a mix of veteran leadership (Ayala, Caliendo, Kennedy) and young talent (Kueter, Ferrari, DeLuca) adorning the black & gold!

A few of our Clubmen are competing at the Bill Farrell Memorial International tournament this weekend (November 7-8) at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan. Austin DeSanto (61kg) returns to the mat and Steven Buchanan (97kg) and Jesse Ybarra (61kg) are making their freestyle debuts.
Spencer Lee will be taking the mat again in late November as he was just added to the RAF 03 card on Saturday, Nov. 29 in Chicago, IL! You can buy tickets here!
